Oats and seeds: a healthier alternative to breadcrumbs
How about swapping breadcrumbs for oat bran? Or sesame seeds and linseeds? They’re a great new healthy alternative to breadcrumbs that works in exactly the same way: dip the food you want to crumb (chicken, prawns, fish, etc.) in some beaten egg and then cover it with your alternative breadcrumbs, making sure it sticks. It works equally well with frying and baking.
