Ingredients

  • 200gr grated Cheddar or Gouda cheese
  • 50gr de Chopped Borges Walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 spoonfuls of chopped parsley
  • ½ spoonfuls of chilli peppers
  • Salt
  • Borges Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Step by step

    Ideal to serve with tomato sauce or in salad

  2. Step 2

    Thoroughly mix the cheese, walnuts, chilli peppers, parsley and egg yolks in a bowl. Beat the egg whites until stiff and mix them with the cheese mixture. Season to taste and make balls with the dough. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry the balls in batches at high flame until golden (3-4 minutes). Serve hot.
