RICE WITH RAISINS AND PINE NUTS
* 250gr long grain rice
* 1 spoonful of Borges Extra Virgin Olive Oil
* 1 teaspoon of curry powder
* 100gr Borges Raisins
* 75gr Borges Pine Nuts
* 1/2 l. of water
Step by StepArrange the pine nuts on a plate and toast them in the microwave on high power for 3 minutes. Wash the rice and put in a bowl one spoonful of olive oil, curry powder and salt. Add the drained rice to the bowl and cover with boiling water. Microwave on high power for 15 minutes. Leave to stand before serving. Scatter some pine nuts over the top.
Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving. Catalan people usually have this dish for Lent.
It may be shaped with a pudding mould and placed in the centre of the dish.
