Yummy triple-chocolate pancakes
* 2 eggs
* 2 cups of Borges Natura walnut drink
* 2 cup of flour
* 1 sachet of baking powder
* 1 cup of dark, white and milk chocolate drops
* ½ cup of ground almonds
* Honey or agave nectar to taste
* 1 pinch of salt
* Butter to grease the frying pan
Step by StepMix the eggs, walnut drink and salt together in a bowl. Slowly add the flour, stirring all the while to make sure it doesn’t turn lumpy (a whisk, blender or food mixer will be of great help). Once you’ve got a smooth, lump-free batter, add the baking powder and you’re ready to start making pancakes.
At this point, it’s up to you how to use the chocolate drops: you can sprinkle them on at the end or add them to the batter now and let them melt while making the pancake. Or both!
Let’s add half the triple-chocolate drops to the batter. Grease a frying pan with a little butter and add a small amount of batter to form the first pancake, giving it about 1 minute per side. Repeat.
As soon as each pancake is ready, sprinkle it with chocolate drops, ground almonds and honey and add it to the pile. They won't last long…
Nutritional TipsWe haven’t used any sugar in this recipe, given that the three chocolates, almonds and honey or agave nectar will make them quite sweet enough. You can use ground oats instead of flour, and if you use a very hot nonstick frying pan you can dispense with the butter.
