Waffles with walnut drink
* 120 ml (4 US fl oz) Borges Natura walnut drink
* 125 g (4.4 oz) flour
* 1 large egg
* 30 g (1 oz) margarine
* 30 g (1 oz) sugar
* ½ teaspoonful of baking powder
* 1 teaspoonful of bicarbonate of soda
* Vanilla ice cream
* Caramel syrup
Step by StepMix all the ingredients together to form a fairly thin, smooth batter.
Turn on the waffle iron and, when it’s hot, grease with a little olive oil. Pour a soupspoonful of waffle batter into the iron and close. Wait for the waffle to cook, which will vary depending on the waffle in question.
Top off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a good drizzling of caramel syrup.
